Kansas Family Voice of Idaho Commends Governor Little for Signing Simon’s Law
(Virtual Press Conference 11am (MT) March 31)
BOISE, IDAHO — Late today, Governor Brad Little (R) announced that he has signed Idaho’s “Simon’s Law” requiring hospitals give parents 48 hours’ notice before implementing an order to withhold life-sustaining treatment from minor children.
Blaine Conzatti, Director of Advocacy for Kansas Family Voice of Idaho, noted: “We are grateful Governor Little signed this law, making sure that what happened to Simon Crosier’s parents will never happen to a family in Idaho.”
Reporters are invited to join a virtual press conference tomorrow to hear more about this important development and from affected families.
