Wichita, KS — August 5, 2026 — Kansas Family Voice announced its endorsement of Ty Masterson for Governor, citing his strong commitment to parental rights, women’s privacy, religious freedom, educational opportunity, and policies that strengthen Kansas families. KFV did not endorse in the primary, believing Kansans deserved to have the opportunity to choose in the primary, but the clear distinctions between the remaining candidates lead to one conclusion—conservatives must unite behind Ty Masterson.

“With the primary behind us, conservatives must unite behind the only pro-family candidate in this race.
Ty Masterson has been a consistent champion for issues that matter to the family! He spearheaded many of the efforts to pass laws that protect women’s privacy and athletic opportunities, advocated for educational freedom and parental rights in education, ensured that women have resource and support in difficult pregnancies, promoted adoption and religious freedom, and fought to protect children from harmful technology.
In contrast, Cindy Holscher has consistently voted against all but a very few pro-family bills. Over the last eight years, we have watched Cindy Holscher vote against the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act, Women’s Privacy law, Help Not Harm, Parental Bill of Rights, The Abortion Coercion Act, Adoption and Pregnancy Resource Center Tax credit laws, a law to strengthen religious freedom protections for church buildings and worship services, the Adoption Conscience Act, every opportunity that has given children educational options, and the list goes on. This record is completely at odds with the values of most Kansans. Her agenda must be defeated in November.
Regardless of primary preferences, it is time for conservatives to come together. The mission to protect families, religious freedom, life, mothers in crisis, children struggling with identity, and parents’ right to raise their children as God commands is too important to divide over personal preferences. Kansans need a champion for families, and Ty will be that champion. For all these reasons, we are proud to endorse Ty Masterson.”
