Representative Ben Koppelman is someone you can count on to represent your biblical values in the state legislature, as he has done for years. Ben is someone who holds strong opinions on right and wrong and is not afraid to stand on his principles when necessary.

Ben has a significant track record of defending and advancing your values in the state legislature. He sponsored a bill last session to protect child victims of sexual assault—Natalee’s Law. Ben cosponsored a bill that would have exempted churches from the current unfair taxation they are subject to, and he also cosponsored a bill last session that gave homeschool families more control over the teaching philosophy and methods of instructing their children. He was a staunch supporter of the two pro-life bills introduced last session and serves on the Finance and Taxation and Government and Veterans Affairs committees.

Representative Koppelman is also a graduate of Family Policy Foundation’s Statesmen Academy. The Statesmen Academy℠ trains and equips politicians for effective public service to advance godly values in our nation. In talking with Ben afterwards, he was very thankful for the opportunity to attend and stated that it further shaped his views on how to integrate his faith into the political process

In his personal life, Ben attended NDSU, owns a construction company, is married to Julie, and they have two children. Their family attends Triumph West Lutheran church. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Valley Christian Leadership Association and past member of the West Fargo School Board, serving as president from 2011 to 2012.

Representative Ben Koppelman is someone who Kansas Family Voice of North Dakota® is pleased to endorse, based on his Christian faith and personal beliefs. He has a track record of defending and advancing pro-life and pro-family values in our state legislature and we encourage you to reelect him to represent District 16, and indeed all of North Dakota.
