Sept. 3, 2025 – Wichita, Kan.

Today, Kansas Family Voice announces that Brittany Jones has been appointed as the organization’s President, marking a new chapter of growth and strategic leadership for the organization. Jones steps into the role at a time when Kansas Family Voice is expanding its team and deepening its impact across the state. Jeff Bennett has led the organization for the last four years, following its relaunch in 2021, and has grown into a trusted voice in Kansas politics, as well as within the church. He will continue to serve Kansas Family Voice as a member of its board and as an advisor to the organization.

A graduate of Louisiana College and Regent University School of Law, Brittany Jones has served as Director of Policy and Engagement for Kansas Family Voice and as General Counsel for the Kansas Family Foundation. Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to religious liberty, the sanctity of life, educational opportunity for all Kansas families, and the dignity of every person. During her time in Topeka, she has been instrumental in mobilizing and resourcing Conservatives to override more than two dozen vetoes of pro-family legislation.  With a background in law and public policy, Jones combines strategic insight with a passion for defending truth in the public square.

“Brittany’s leadership, legal expertise, and passion for truth have already shaped key legislative victories in Kansas,” said Cary Humphries, Chair of the Kansas Family Voice Board of Directors. “Her leadership will be instrumental in meeting the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

As President, Jones will spearhead Kansas Family Voice’s vision, legislative engagement, national connections, grassroots mobilization, elections engagement, and public messaging efforts. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time, as Kansans face crucial decisions about key issues like educational choice, judicial reform, exponential growth in abortion numbers, and the need to safeguard children from harmful ideologies.

Further, this move prepares the organization to meet the upcoming 2026 election cycle head-on. With Governor Laura Kelly term-limited, the race to elect Kansas’s next leader has a crowded field of candidates from both parties. These election outcomes will shape the future of key issues for decades to come.

Statement from Brittany Jones, President:

“I am humbled by the opportunity to assume this position at Kansas Family Voice at such a critical moment. Our state stands at a crossroads, and it’s time to boldly advance policies rooted in truth, compassion, and constitutional integrity. The tireless work of Jeff Bennett these last four years has relaunched the organization and built a firm foundation for exponential growth. I am honored to be a part of the incredibly talented team at Kansas Family Voice, and I look forward to expanding our successes and advancing the mission for families across Kansas.”
