I don’t know about you, but as a Christian, it often seems we’re surrounded by forces of darkness that want to extinguish the flame of faith we try to hold high. The assaults can sometimes feel overwhelming, but God continues to offer us grace and strength for each challenge we face.

Daniel found himself in some tough situations – surrounded by forces of evil trying to extinguish his flame of faith in God. But his faith was steadfast. He paid the price for his unwavering faith, all the way to a death sentence. God ultimately rescued his servant, but then something amazing happened! He not only survived, but acted on his faith and was able to transform the Babylonian culture around him.

That is precisely what God is calling us to do. Not just survive, but to thrive and spread the truth and love of His message in our culture. We do that in many ways, but one key avenue is through what we call biblical citizenship – living out our faith in the policy arena.

As you know by now, Kansas Family Voice of North Dakota is hosting dessert banquets in Bismarck on April 3rd and Fargo April 4th. Our featured speakers will be the Benham Brothers: two men, who like Daniel, were persecuted for their faith in a very visible way. They will use the story of Daniel to inspire us not just to survive in our culture, but to change it for God’s glory.

If you haven’t already done so, please sign up to attend. You might consider financially sponsoring the banquets. When you team up with us financially, more of the proceeds will go directly to the work we are doing right here in North Dakota. These dessert banquets are co-sponsored by Family Policy Foundation of North Dakota.

We look forward to sharing a great evening with you!
Sincerely,

Mark Jorritsma
Executive Director
