Below are our 2024 Initiatives. As we grow, we will add more!

Shepherd-to-Shepherd

  • Pastors and governing authorities are ordinary people that have been called into an extraordinary and often heavy responsibility. Both are called to be shepherds – pastors shepherd congregations, and governing authorities shepherd cities, counties, states, and nations. As an initial focus, we are establishing intentional relationships between pastors and state legislators. The Church Ambassador Network makes these connections to share Scripture and biblical truth and pray both in Topeka and in the home districts of our legislators.

Church Ambassador Teams

  • These teams are a ministry of a local church to engage local governing authorities at the school board, city, and county level. Teams are comprised of 3-5 church members, volunteering their time to this church sponsored ministry. The Church Ambassador Network works with pastors and churches as they implement Church Ambassador Teams, providing resources and training through an intentional implementation process. We desire to reach out to the over 300 school boards, over 550 incorporated cities, and 105 counties.

Prayer

  • The Church Ambassador Network lays a foundation of submitting ourselves, and our governing authorities at every level of government, to God. Every year, early in the legislative session, we conduct a “Pastors Prayer at the Capitol” event where we focus on Kansas. This event brings pastors and their guests from across the state to pray in the Topeka Capitol rotunda. We also partner with the National Day of Prayer to pray for our nation. This event is open to everyone and is on the first Thursday of May each year. Eventually we want to have these events across Kansas.
