We’ve been keeping you updated on what is transpiring Olathe as LGBTQ+ activists have pushed to impose a sexual orientation and gender identity ordinance (SOGI) on the Olathe City Council. I know I’ve said this before but now is the time for action. The Council is planning to take a final vote on an ordinance TOMORROW night.
We need you to show up and be willing to speak out. Activists are trying to ram this vote through before the newly elected city council members join the council in January. They are targeting city council members who have stood strongly to protect religious freedom and the privacy of women and girls in Olathe. The councilmembers standing up for your values need your support.
Please make plans to attend the meeting tomorrow Tuesday, December 3 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. If you can attend it would be best to arrive by 6:30. We are asking that people who attend wear red to show their support for religious freedom. Encourage your pastor to get involved as well.
These are not just “political” issues but have great significance for families, for the ability to live out our Biblical beliefs, and for the fabric of our society as a whole.
We appreciate your respectful engagement on this issue and encourage you to spend earnest time in prayer for your city and its leaders.
Praying for Olathe,
Brittany Jones, Esq.
