During this unique election year, ENGAGE is seeking to inspire the Church to pray for and share the gospel with public servants. Much is at stake in 2026, and we are actively encouraging churches to:
1) help members to register to vote,
2) build a conviction that voting is important, and
3) empower church members to be biblically informed voters.
Many churches are helping members register to vote at their locations, but more churches could be active in this.
ENGAGE is also encouraging on-site and electronic registration. Registering to vote is now a very user-friendly process online, so we are helping churches communicate that through their mass electronic networks.
Being registered to vote is one thing. But it is quite another to have the conviction that we should vote. We hope this will dramatically increase voter turnout amongst the Church. We’re helping pastors build a biblical and logical case for why citizens should vote to have their voices heard, and how the Church is called to be salt and light in our political process.
Lastly, ENGAGE is partnering with Kansas Family Voice to produce a biblically informed voters’ guide so that church members can vote for those who most align with what the scriptures say, rather than what the media says. It is a high priority to us that the Church is biblically guided, is registered, and shows up to vote.
We hope that this 3-pronged effort will activate what is the most important and largest constituency in our state – the Church!
